How long does it take to recover from the pain of bulging discs and whats the best treatment?
Just over a month and a half ago, I hurt my back doing repetitive heavy lifting at work, only to find out that as a result, I have two bulging discs and slight retrothesis of my L5. After a month of finding this out, I was involved in a car crash where I received bad whiplash and re-sprained my back. How long should I expect my recovery to take and what the best way to help with my recovery?
I had to have Epidural Steriod Injections in my back. I had three of them and they worked this time but the first time I had to have back surgery on L-4-L5. They put in a metal rod and screws and it took me a year to get better over that. After I had the ESI it took about six months to get better, this too was the results of a car accident. Good Luck, know you are in pain
