I have a bulging disc with nerve impingement in my lumbar spine. Other than surgery is there anything that can help with the pain tried epidurals last a week at most pain returns.

I know that it isn’t appendicitis or a kidney stone. I had a Ct Scan of my abdomen and pelvis. My hip goes out from time to time. So I was wondering what it could be.

I went to neruologist and got x-rays and she gave me phsyical therapy. It did not help at all. What should i do..Where should i go. What doctor?
I would suggest a chiropractor..get your xrays from the neurologist and then have the chiropractor take new xrays and compare them.

My husband has bulging discs in his cervical spine. He’s had 1 epidural injection and is still having a lot of pain in his neck. The steroid shots can help for only awhile. The bulging disc is still there and may requite surgery if the pain in very bad!
