Is it extremely weird to have Degenerative Disc Disease?

Hi, I'm nearing the age of 15 and the doctor said I have Degenerative Disc Disease and a spine of 50 year old. I'm sure a herniated disc is normal though.

It is normal for an older adult. I would ask the doctor to have a bone density test performed. You should not have this issue at your age.

    A herniated disc is not normal. I have had surgery 3 times to correct them and the pain from a herniated disc is severe. I agree with Proud American, you need to know why you have this.
