What is the best pain killer for the pain of braces?

Whats the best kind for dealing with the pain after you put on braces?
Please make it so where I can get it at a local drug store.

take an advil whatever usually works for you. and get some ambusal (sp?)-this will numb the gums and inside your cheeks and lips (where the braces brush against and cause raw skin)
also, you can get clear wax in the dental section to place on the braces to stop them from rubbing.
