John suffered multiple injuries when he fell 28ft on to concert.
In the beginning excepted injuries were as followed..
Date of accident June 23rd 2005
December 7th 2006 Decision letter..
1. C6 Burst fracture
2.Compound comminuted fracture of the left olecranon ( elbow)
3.concussion, skull fracture
4.Left hip fracture
PROTESTING AND FIGHTING FOR 1 YEAR AND AFTER HE WAS TOLD WERE SORRY WE MISSED.
Mr Berfelo’s Injuries that have been accepted now are as follow

5.Cervical Verterbrae-C6 bust fracture

8.Elbow left - Chronic pain
9.Hip left - Factrures
10.Knee left - Other Diseases conditions, disorders
11.Skull - Fractures.
DENIED ON CLAIM BUT RELATED TO FALL June 23 2005
1.Cervical Region - Dislocated, Herniated, Slipped, Ruptured DISC
2.Ears - Other Diseases conditions , disorders
3.Lumbar Region- L3-L4 Dislocated, Herniated, Slipped, Ruptured DISC
4.Lumbar Region- L4-L5 Dislocated, Herniated, Slipped, Ruptured DISC
5.Lumbar Region- L5-S1 Dislocated, Herniated, Slipped, Ruptured DISC
6.Thoracic Region T 12-L1 Dislocated, Herniated, Slipped, Ruptured DISC
7. Wrist Left- Other Traumatic injuries, Disorders, UNS
It has been 4 years and just in the past 2 months John has recived more 9 DENIED LETTERS
retaining to his WorkSafe B.C claim
The most recant July 14 2009
It states that he can work as a
1. Parking lot attendant $2460 a month
2. Toll booth attendant $24690 a month
No loss of earnings pension
This is how seriously Injured workers are treated..
27.65% total disability award for injuries
Monthly Salary $ 5000+ WorkSafe B.C pays MAX $3240 - 27.65%= $927.22
WorkSafe B.C PENSION $ 955.11 2009

There are thousands upon thousands of us who can relate to the pain he is suffering. If my body can ever heal from recent multiple injuries, it will be a miracle.
Thank God for doctors, family and true friends, music … and mom who taught me how to smile for the camera - no matter what. I needed to see your video today to reaffirm that there are survivors. THANK YOU!

Furthermore WCB is crown corp. therefore politicians feel it their place to provide jobs through nepotism and cronyism. They feel WCB main purpose is to provide cush job to the friends or family. They come first you second.

Once you get hurt its a whole different set of rules that need to be followed in order to get proper diagnosis and help with your injuries

If you are fighting Worksafe B.C and you have been seriously injured I bet by the time you are though you will have a lawyers back ground in policies regarding WorkSafe B.C..
I know I read the manual every day !!!
Fighting Worksafe B.C is the hardest thing I have ever had to do !!!!

Injured workers need to stand and fight for there rights !! We pay for insurance why do we have to FIGHT IF WE GET HURT !!!!

When you are …
When you are injured in Canada, you will be accused as a malingering faker, diagnostic tests will be denied or they will be performed very limited so your injury will not be properly diagnosed;
Then you will be thrust into a physiotherapy program were your complaints will be discarded and you will be further injured and receive NO HELP;
If you protest,you will be tasered, and you will be KILLED;
Canada is unaware of the corruption that is allowed to exist, workers compensation is legalized FRAUD

Assuming we could …
Assuming we could trust our Government. I have become skeptical about that. But yes, change is needed, and the only way it’s going to come about is if we organize and start tackling this at a grassroots level. I don’t want to start offering ideas until I have a better grasp of what is already being done. It does, however occur to me that we need to raise funds to help the injured workers in greatest need. I know what it’s like to go days on end with no food. Sucks if you are already ill.
