sarah jo’s scoliosis surgery
my name is sarah jo, and i have thoacic juvenile scoliosis, i had my spinal surgery on may 6, 2009… i have growth rods in my spine, and will have to have spinal surgery done again every six months to lengthen the rods in my spine until my spine quits growing… thanks to everyone who has kept me in their prayers…

thanks, she’s doing pretty good now… her next surgery is november 2… another 3 weeks she will be down and out of school…

i will be praying …
i will be praying for u that everything goes well, as for as the pain, the first day was a little rough, she was on pain meds and wasn’t in as much pain as we were thinking she would be, it is a rough surgery but she did really well with hers, let me just say that it is well worth having it, her spine went from a 78 degree angle to a 22 degree angle…
her next surgery is on Nov. 2nd, she will be out of school again for two more weeks…

THANK GOD u are …
THANK GOD u are doing great now, sarah jo is doing really good as well, we just took her today for her check-up and her next surgery is set up to be done in november, hopefully during thanksgiving holidays so she doesn’t have to miss to much school…

wow….i had …
wow….i had surgery in feb and i thought that was hard. but one every 6 months… this really puts it into perspective…Sarah Jo, i hope all goes well now and in the future! praying for you!
one word of advice…keep looking forward, everyday gets better. and remember to keep on smiling!

WOW. This video is extremely touching, as I had scoliosis surgery in January. I am so very sorry you have to go though all this but I want you to know that you are extremely brave and courageous and inspire me. I wish you all the best with your surgeries, you are truly an amazing girl.

my 5 year old sister has the same thing…she just resently spent 3 months in the shriners hospital in minniapolis minnisota…she had the whole nine yards the brace the rods and everything…shes my everything…i just wanted to tell you that your not alone…and she is brave…i would know

very awsom video I loved it hop all her surgerys go well. I had surgery to correct my kyphosis all most a year a go. Kyphosis alot like scoliosis.
